The Denver Post reported today that Vestas, wind turbine manufacturer, is laying off 90 workers in its Pueblo, Colo. plant because of the expiration of wind energy tax credits in 2013. Do you think wind energy credits should be extended to help create skilled jobs in Colorado? Are Wind Credits Good for the Colorado Economy?

More employees of Vestas are being let go due to the expiration in tax credits.  30 employees from Brighton Colorado were let go.  With Vestas having to make more cuts the plants in Brighton and Windsor may lose employees as well.

How good are tax credits in the Colorado economy if they lead to people losing their jobs?
